Champagne Glow Hair Co. Covid Safety Plan

At Champagne Glow we want to ensure your safety during these uncertain times when you visit our salon for both our guests and our staff members. Below we have listed all the ways we are going to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission.

Occupancy Limit:

We have a limit of 12 people allowed in the salon at a time and our doors to our salon will always be locked so we never reach past our limit and stop walk-in traffic.

Plexiglass and Distancing:

We have placed plexiglass between stylist stations where physical distancing cannot be placed and moveable plexiglass by the hair washing sinks when all three sinks are being used. Our receptionist desk is also protected by plexiglass. Clients are asked to remain in the stylist chairs if the reception area is being used to maintain physical distancing. When purchasing retail only staff members will be able to pick up products.

Masks:

Masks are to be worn properly covering the mouth and nose, and worn the entire time when physical distancing cannot be maintained. Please bring your own mask, if you forget one we can provide you with one disposable mask. We recommend wearing a disposable mask if you are getting a colour service done as the colour will stain the straps of your mask and depending on how far the mask comes to your ears may possibly get on the front of your mask. When getting your haircut, hair will most likely get in your mask. We ask that you do NOT remove your mask to pick out the hair. We know this can be uncomfortable so we will refrain from cutting the front until the end of the service.

Cleaning and Hand Washing:

When guests arrive they will be asked to sanitize or wash their hands. Each stylist station is disinfected after every client, including all tools and new towels and capes are used for the next client. Stylists will wash or sanitize their hands after every client and before their next client if they have touched any frequently touched surfaces. Our washrooms will be disinfected as frequently as possible and our debit machine will be wiped down after every use.

Arriving for your Appointment:

Clients are asked to wait in their car or outside until their stylist has contacted them to meet them at either the front or back door. We have glass doors so it is easy to see if someone is waiting outside or about to come in or out of the salon. Clients must arrive early or on time for their appointment as each appointment is booked for the exact time needed to provide the service and to disinfect afterwards, failing to arrive on time may lead to termination of the scheduled appointment. Bring only yourself to your appointment, no friends or additional guests unless a parent or guardian is needed.

Before your Appointment:

You will be required to fill out our covid form which will be sent to you before your appointment with us. We have the right to refuse service if you are experiencing any symptoms so please reschedule if you are showing any signs of sickness. If staff members have any symptoms they will not be allowed to work, they will be required to get a covid test and will not be able to work until they have a negative result.

We will update our policies if we notice anything needs to be added or changed and if our Official Health Officer implements any additional changes for BC personal service guidelines.
